How long have you been in business?
We opened in the fall of 1987.
What is your primary product or service?
Private music instruction.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
We wanted to offer quality music instruction, at a fair cost, to our church members, as well as the community around us, in a Christian environment.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
All our instructors have degrees in their primary instruments, are performers as well as instructors, and are Christian.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location and do not plan to expand beyond our church campus.
Provide detailed directions to your location
We are off Chapman Avenue in Orange. At Center Street you will see City Hall on the southwest corner and the Orange Public Library on the north side. You can only turn south onto Center.
What type of payments do you accept?
Cash or checks.
Which areas do you service?
Orange County, some from the Long Beach area.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
We are part of St. John's Lutheran Church
What are your hours of operation?
Our office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to noon. Lessons are various days and hours, depending on demand.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
That the student loves music and learning his/her instrument.
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.”
