What is your primary product or service?
Providing Breast Pumps to new moms that want to breastfeed their baby while going back to work. We bill the health insurance provider so there is little or no cost to the mom.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
We started a breast pump program for the Military since they had no supplier. I am a certified lactation educator and have participated in breastfeeding classes at Military hospitals.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our competition is focused on the Medicare patient, providing hospital beds, wheelchairs and oxygen while we have created a niche market for ourselves with breast pumps.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Locations in Anahem and Lake Elsinore, California and a new office in Honolulu, Hawaii. Expansion toward the East Coast is scheduled for next year.
