How long have you been in business?
I was a Social Worker and Therapist in Private Practice for a total of 18 years.
I started I-Deal-Lifestyle Professional Organizer, Feng Shui / Decor and Green Living Practices
in 2010. I realized that my mental health, design and Feng Shui background could really be combined to help people live a happier and better lifestyle.

How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have a BA in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Social Work. I am a retired LCSW.
My mother was a decorator and I have studied Feng Shui for the past 25 years.
I found the Professional Organizer business to be a perfect match for my skill set.
I am a Mental Health Expert as well as a great advocate and I love decorating and Feng Shui principles. I have created Proprietary Methods of helping people get organized from the Inside Out and the Outside In.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Knowing how to help people uncover the key element of their hoarding, collecting, acquiring, storing, disorganization, clutter challenges is the first step. Then helping a person realize their language skills and the way they communicate with themselves and others can contribute to chronic disorganization is the second step to healing and clearing clutter. Then individualizing the process for each person and their space is very important. Everyone is different and creates a different clutter situation, so you have to be creative in teaching organizing skills. Teaching people the skills to keep up an organized home, business, space long term organization is what makes the difference.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I have 3 locations now Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego Counties.
I plan to go Nationwide.
