How long have you been in business?
Since 1981 holding Ca. Lic. # B 398318 ( the lower the license # the longer one has been in business )
What is your primary product or service?
Partnering with home owners to insure that their construction project, new, remodeled, are done in a workmanlike fashion paying close attention to detail and quality control, completed on time and on budget.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
As a youngster growing up in Florida my parents instilled a good work ethic. I started working construction in the summer and after graduating high school continued on in the construction field. Started out as a mason tender learned a bit about masonry . I then had the opportunity to learn stucco or exterior plaster, I became a journeyman plaster for the next few years, while attending Jr. college in Gainesville, Fla. Moved to California in the mid seventies and became a rough and finish carpenter for a number of years and in 1981 got my California Contractors license. Specialized in remodels and built a few custom homes as specs in North S.C. County. Moved into fine carpentry in tenant improvements such as Victorias Secret, Abercrombie & Fitch and more. Later I was asked to do fine carpentry in the ultra custom homes in Orange County such as Pelican HIll, Emerald Bay, Lido Island, Shady Canyon and other fine communities. How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I am established and have been in business since 1981 and have an established track record. I have used the same name since 1981 and never gone out of business or had to change my business name. I use professional qualified sub contractors. I look for a balance between quality and cost. I believe you get what you pay for. I cater to quality. I will give the consumer a quality product at a fair price.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I have one office and do not intend to expand at this time.

My office is 26939 Camino De Estrella, Capistrano Beach, CA. 92624. I -5 .. exit Camino De Estrella head south aprox. 6 blocks. Corner of Camino De Estrella and Del Sol. Small upstairs unit ( only upper unit ) above salon.
What type of payments do you accept?
Cash, checks.
Which areas do you service?
The beach communities of Orange County.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Like the name of the company Steven Foster Construction, the buck stops with me.

Normal Monday thru Friday .
