All of our care-givers are CPR certified and have criminal background checks on file. All have extensive experience as care-givers before they come to us. What is your primary product or service?
We find qualified babysitters, nannies, mothers helpers, pet sitters and adult companion caregivers, put them through an 8 Step Verification Process and if they pass then we schedule them with our client's when they call in for an occasional, part time or full time caregiver.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Sitters Unlimited is a franchise and I worked with them for ten years as a caregiver before taking the step to purchase the Orange County office. I love that I'm in a business that helps women to work as caregivers and be able to schedule jobs around their school and/or family obligations. I am proud that I'm providing safe childcare (for the parents) and fun babysitters (for the children) as well as dedicated pet sitters and senior companion caregivers who really enjoy the pets and people they care for.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I take a lot of time to make the right match for each family. Our babysitters have extensive experience with the ages of chlidren we schedule them with and arrive with an Activity Bag geared toward the ages of children they'll be caring for. Our pet sitters own pets and/or have experience working with pets in a shelter, vet's office or kennel. Our adult companion caregivers take pride in being a part of helping a senior or challenged adult to live independently.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We cover the California counties of: Orange, San Diego, Los Angeles and Riverside.
