Lori The Dog Walker and Cat Sitter was founded in 2007 to provide loving care for dogs and cats in Huntington Beach and Newport Beach. Lori and her assistants are licensed, bonded and insured to protect your pets as well as property, all dog walkers and pet sitters have had a thorough background check to verify there is no criminal history.
We love dogs and cats, we enjoy spending time with them, we take pride in making sure your pet is well cared for and knows they are loved while you have to be away for work or need to take a vacation.

I hired Lori The Dog walker after a disaster with another dog walker and sitter who couldn't keep her bookings straight. The difference between Lori and other dog walkers is like night and day, the minute she sent me a professional invoice I new things were going to be great. Lori has never missed an appointment, she walks my pug while I work and lets him stay in her home while I travel. I have a very busy work schedule so I need dog walks 7 days a week and I travel often for work. Lori has always been there for me, if she can't do it herself she has an assistant. She loves my dog and takes great care of him, I know I can trust her. I wish my first call had been to Lori it would have saved me a lot of headaches. If they had the option here I would give Lori 5 stars, she runs a professional first class dog walker service.

Lori has walked my dog for the last 2 ears on week days and she or her assistant pet sit for me when I travel. Both she and her assistant are great! My dog is happy and Lori's customer service is amazing.

What is your primary product or service?
We provide daily dog walks group or private, small dog boarding for dogs under 25 lbs just one or two dogs at a time, overnight dog sitting in your home for dogs of all sizes, morning and evening dog sitting visits. We provide daily cat sitting visits once, twice or three times per day, overnight cat sitting in your home. Please note that we do not board cats and do not recommend boarding for cats because leaving their home causes to much stress. Cats are very different from dogs, they are territory creatures and should only be removed from their home when necessary for vet care.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
For me and my assistants caring for dogs and cats is a calling not just a job. My business provides the best of both worlds, personalized pet care with the backing of a professional business. My business is not a large corporation that will throw the first teenager they can find on your job often sending multiple people for the same job. All of my dog walkers and pet sitters are above the age of 30, they are mature, responsible and must go through a complex process which includes a background check to become a member of my team. Out of hundreds who may apply only a few are accepted. I provide personal customer service to all clients so they will not feel lost in a corporate maze. I provide emergency back up coverage for all pet sitters meaning that if the pet sitter on your job has an emergency I will either send another pet sitter or cover the job myself. This is something the independent pet sitter may not have and often may not think of until something happens. I provide a detailed pet care invoice / confirmation to make sure you know which services we are scheduled to provide for your pets, the dates they will be provided and the total amount due. Each pet sitter is emailed a daily schedule, you are sent a copy of what she will see so that you can make sure everything is correct. This helps prevent errors. I can't tell you how many times clients have thanked me for this system because they have experienced errors in scheduling with other pet sitters.
