Interview Q&A
How long have you been in business?
Our church was founded in 1974, our Early Childhood Program has been open since 1977, and our K-8th Program has been open since 1983!
What is your primary product or service?
A very active Church with an amazing Praise Band, and a Faith-based education for Early Childhood through 8th grade that offers a large variety of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, including Foreign Language, Sports, and Music.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I am the Director of Admissions and School Age Care, and first came to this school because I felt called to serve in its exceptional Program. Hephatha means "Be Opened" (Mark 7:34), and it is my pleasure to serve parents who are looking to take charge of their child's education, and "Be Opened" to more.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I feel that our school size and Programming are what make the difference. We offer a variety of tuition and schedule options in our Early Childhood Program, and offering one class per grade in our Kindergarten through 8th grade Program affords your child programming opportunities and ratios that they might not otherwise receive.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location in Anaheim Hills, with no plans to expand at present.

Mark 7:34-35, which is a story of Jesus healing a deaf and mute man, which reads:
"Jesus looked up to heaven, and with a deep sigh said to him, "Ephaphatha!", which means, "Be opened!". At this, the man's ears were opened, his tongue was loosened, and he began to speak plainly.
