Centralia School District is public school district serving students in preschool through 6th grade. We have eight schools and an education center serving the cities of Anaheim, Buena Park and La Palma. The District serves a diverse ethnic and socio-economic population of approximately 4,500 students. English, Spanish and Korean are the dominant ethnic groups and there are 34 languages spoken in the community. The District has a comprehensive curriculum for all children including Special Education, GATE, English Learners, and the Greater Anaheim SELPA Deaf and Hard of Hearing program and Autism program. Programmatically we offer State preschool, transitional and full day kindergarten, after-school ASES and Child Care, parent involvement programs, Learning Link, art and music programs, a Community Resource Center, Helping Hands program, GRIP program, and the Anaheim Police Cadet program. Centralia School District is known for its high academic achievement having exceeded the API State Measurement and the was identified as one of three schools in Orange County meeting its AYP, Federal Achievement Measurement for 2013. All eight schools have received recognition and honors from the Campaign for Business and Educational Excellence (CBEE). The 2016 State tests reveal that Centralia Elementary School District again outpaces county and state averages.
